How many rape cases are false....?

Ok did some looking around...several sorces state the 2% other say thats not correct but dont give any numbers.


and there are a lot of sources that say between 20-30%

And some sickos out of vengeance make false allegations about this crime.





If women or men are more or less abused, that is not the point. The point is that rape destroys lives and ALL lives are important. I am tired of the ';competition';.





Thanks for taking the time for this. I am curious to know the exact percentage. I was trying to find reliable data as many times it is manipulated due to political reasons. What someone recommends is to make a survey between rape centers, FBI and Academia. As each one of them have different data.How many rape cases are false....?

I regarded rape as a serious matter - at least until feminists expanded the definition to include when women succumb to their desires and subsequently feel guilt.
Dang it! I would of posted earlier but i was doing it to the old lady and I had to tie her up as she was not agreeable to my wishes!

Quite a few cases are false. Feminists would rather convict innocent men than get to the truth of the matter.

Your question is vague, are false where ? The sources that cite the 2 % mark didnt do any research on the subject. Researchers found numbers to be vastly higher than the 2% for general false reports and anywhere from 20 - 95% depending on area and time.





They do happen however, the far better question would be, what do we do about them ?





Of course rape isnt a joke. Although false rape reports harm victims of rape the 2 are different issues. Are you afraid that taking murder seriously is going to somehow make look rape look better, or theft, or some other crime ? I dont quite grasp what you are so preoccupied about.





EDIT: The number that says 95% was reported by the German police for cologne and publicized in a respectable newspaper that by no stretch of the imagination can be referred to as boulevard. The percentage doesnt say anything about how much women lie. Rapes could have been seldome in cologne so that by comparison the constant number of false reports was high, or women did lie indeed more, however the numbers dont reflect that.
Thank you Untamed Rose!! You are so awesome for taking this seriously and honestly doing the research. Its been a weird past few days, with several people on here wanting to make light of rape or call most rape victims liars. These people are simply sick and have no understanding of what rape does to a person. (Look at the Brad-whatever-his-name above me's response). People like him are sick, and just don't want to belief that something so horrible can happen to another person and just want to vilify all victims.

Brad D is a F*king idiot although it is true if a woman does feel guilty the guy has no ground to stand on its the woman's word against the guys' and ask yourself who would you be more inclined to believe? i wouldn't like to think this way about my fellow human beings but there are women that would drag an innocent man threw the mudd just because they don't feel the same way about him in the morning after she wakes up and realizes how much she likes to give it up every once in a while.
There are several different kinds of rape....the kind where a woman is attacked by a total stranger, often murdered or beaten...


Where she is drugged


or where she is out with someone, maybe even on a first date and she is not interested at all in a sexual encounter and the matter is forced on her...


I guess I am a bit old fashioned in that I think women have some responsibility in the ';date'; rape department...I am older than most of you, but I taught my own daughter this as well...I think if you go with a man or take them to your apt or theirs...it could be a mixed message...it is a very bad idea...or if you go to certain places, like hotel/motel rooms. Just stupid. I also think there is only so far you can push a man without giving him the wrong idea...and then saying no. I am 100 percent for women and their rights...but then again I think women need to be responsible and behave like ladies...had my daughter gone to a mans hotel room and then come to me and told me she had been raped I would have asked her message did she think she was giving and just what did she anticipate the consequences of her actions might be? I would not have ALLOWED her to press charges...we would have dealt with things at home.
Absolutely this is no joke at all.





But there are cases where it does happen, even just suggesting inappropriate behavior is messing with someones life.





On that note I believe woman have to take more of a hard lined stand with woman that do this, such as in the Duke rape case. If they do not take the actions of this woman as serious, it just hurts the woman that actually go through this heinous act because a lot of men will always believe that 60% number being thrown around here.





You have to speak up for both crimes, not just the one that effects you, because keeping quite about the other ultimately hurts the actual victims.
I don't think many rape cases are false. Also, women, men and children being raped shouldn't be more or less serious than the other.





False accusations make it harder for women like me who have been raped, and it makes me angry that this happens due to a few bad people.





I shouldn't be discounted because of what happened, nor should I be considered a victim. I've said it before and I'll say it again - I am lucky to be alive!
Is murder more serious than rape? What about armed robbery? Why is there a hierarchy of crime? Isn't all crime serious?
