This is most relevant to India so, I request Indians to answer to it. My Friend Mohit (software engg) has serious disputes with his wife (like extra marital affairs before marriage of hir wife) and he wants divorce for which inlaws did not agreed for it. Unfortunately, Inlawas are trying to get the matter settled with goons instead of as per law. They do have political power which my friend lacks. He is living separately with out letting his contact details know to avoid harrassment from inlaws. Wife has his passport number (but not passport). Mohit has passport and other docs. Can he fly to abroad? or what troble probably He can face if he tries to fly to abroad? Relevant answer helps him a lot.Can wife stop husband leaving from native country India by posing false cases?
No offense, but thats why you dont marry an Indian or someone with those strong believes!
Everyone should be able to get married or divorce whenever they want.
the inlaws have no matter or word in this issue, they should keep their mouth shot.
and yea he can face serious issues for abandoning his wife and not going with the divorce
