Hi.. My wife has filed a false 498A complaint against me and my parents for which she is producing a Bank deposit slip payed by her in which Rs. 22000/- is deposited in my account. It was my money which I told her to deposit on the way to her office on one fine day. Now she is showing that as a proof of giving dowry by her to me. Now how to defend myself?How to defend against false 498A case?
Ask her to show the source of such an income, if possible. And on the other hand try to prove that the money is yours, by showing where it came from...How to defend against false 498A case?
You need to prove where the funds originated from, and so does she.
