Florida Case Law: Defamation & false imprisonment as a result of suspicicous person?

looking for FL case law that would support a defamation/false imprisonment case when the accused did not steal. He was detained for looking suspcious.Florida Case Law: Defamation %26amp; false imprisonment as a result of suspicicous person?
The suspicious person was detained. Not arrested. To prove defamation, nasty vile things insulting the integrity of this person which would have resulted in him losing a job, not being able to get a job at XX Co. Nothing here says that. Is there more to what happened?Florida Case Law: Defamation %26amp; false imprisonment as a result of suspicicous person?
Give it up, as most states can hold you for up top 72 hours without charging you for anything.

Defamation would only come in with intent to defame your character ( if you had one ), and you would have to prove harm has been done, as it was not like you made the international news or anything, and I already covered what you call false imprisonment.

You are just SOL.
