If abortion was only allowed in cases of rape, wouldn't it lead to an increase in false rape claims?

2-not only that, but when pro-lifers offer this compromise, they know it's a load of crap. By the time a legitimately raped woman can prove that her pregnancy was the result of rape, the damn kid has already been born. By then it's too late to abort.If abortion was only allowed in cases of rape, wouldn't it lead to an increase in false rape claims?
I think it probably would. Many women want to be irresponsible with their pregnancy. There will always be people who want to get what they want and then have someone else fix their problems for them. Abortion is one and if there were abortion that were only allowed in cases of rape, there will be women who wouldn't hesitate to get rid of their ';problem'; even if it meant lying.If abortion was only allowed in cases of rape, wouldn't it lead to an increase in false rape claims?
Never thought about it since I'm lucky and live in a country where it's legal.

If it were illegal except under certain circumstances, or illegal across the board, there'd be an awful lot of unimaginable acts of desperation. History has proven it.
ofcourse. I an prochoice and I dont understand the ppl who think that abortion should only be allowed in cases such as rape, incest or when the child has deformities. If you think that abortion is murder then you should believe that it is murder in every circumstance!
yes of course, i might even consider it myself if i found myself in that situation. and how would it work? seeing as though most rape reports are inconclusive i.e. no way to tell if defendant/reporter are definitely telling the truth/lying

So yes, I do think that there would be an increase in false rape accusations. And a lot of people would be wrongly convicted.
Most likely, depends how high the evidentiary requirement was for evidence of this rape in order to procure an abortion

i never thought of this but yes that defiantly true. women fake rapes all the time to get out of all sorts of trouble.
