Have her go talk to her lawyer right now, and undo this. She can be in serious trouble if the husband decides to pursue it. Besides that, it is so morally wrong, that I can't even put it into words.If a wife made a false report on abuse from husband and she signed an affidavit for husband case. ?
If she lied, and gave a false report to the police, she could be in big trouble, if they find out! Lying to police is a perjury charge. Perjury years ago use to be a misdemeanor. I've heard cases recently, where perjury has been classified as a felony. I guess depending on different factors, and circumstances on what they would classify it as.
the laws ar different depending on where you live. Where I am, if its proven that you have lied penalties range from a fine up to incarseration (prison time).
If she is lying she should be worried and seek legal advice immediately to withdraw the affidavit. If not, she should have some sort of proof to substatiate the affidavit
If the report is false and she blatantly lied to the police, that is a felony. The husband can press charges and there is a good possibility she could face jail time.
I'm no specialist on whatever this is .. but any type false report on something as serious as spousal abuse is not anything good. Something like this can cause someone to be denied from a lot of jobs(mainly city and govt jobs)
if she made a false report and the husband was charged then she could get into trouble for perjury...

if they can prove she is lying then they can charge her with it but they prolly wouldnt she would get away with it hope you are divorcing her
