Need documentation of what will cause a false positive urin analises due to infections of blader ,kiddney or l?

The words are urinalysis and kidney. If a urinalysis is run because a person is presenting with symptoms of a UTI, the results cannot be false positive. Do you understand? For example, if white blood cells are found in the specimen and the person has pain and fever, the white cells, fever and pain will be present BECAUSE of the UTI. If there's no infection, there will be no abnormal number of white cells present.

If a urinalysis is run as a routine or screening tool, you have to look at the individual components of a UA, both macroscopic and microscopic. If urine color is unusual, certain foods, vitamins and medications can discolor and/or cloud urine. Infection can give urine an abnomal odor but certain foods, supplements and drugs can do this too. Certain medications can cause both false positive and false negative bilirubin results. Dehydration, exercise, hemoglobinuria, menstrual blood %26amp; myoglobinuria cause false positives for hematuria. Specimen contamination due to improper preparation %26amp; urine collection causes leukocyte esterase results and abnormal bacterial count results.

Your question is implying that UTIs cause false positive urinalysis results and you want to know what will cause this. This question could have worded better because UTIs don't cause false positives.
